It’s summer in Chicago. Need I say more? That basically means two things – people are going to be drinking outside and you should join them. Here are the top rooftop bars that I want to check out this summer.
I’ve been here multiple times and loved it every single time. This is a must visit in the Chicago area. It’s a tad pricey, but the views are breathtaking. If you get a table towards the window, you get to look at all of the wonderful things Chicago has to offer; the skyline, Lincoln Park, and the lake. They have many cocktails on the menu, and I love all of the whiskey ones. Check it out.
This is a brand new rooftop next to my work right on Wacker. This bar opened May 13 and just missed hosting a great Kentucky Derby party (which theme actually seems to be the May menu). Lots of seasonal cocktails and outside atmosphere downtown will make this place definitely worth it.
I heard that this place technically wasn’t a rooftop bar, but it is on the 18th floor with great views of the city. Every time I search rooftop bars, this one always shows up. So it’s gotta be good, right?
This is the gem of all rooftop bars in Chicago. With panoramic views of the city and an executive chef crafting cocktails, this one is sure to please. Be sure to check this one out.
Terrace at Trump
I know the owner of this building isn’t the greatest, but he got something right with this rooftop bar. So many craft cocktails that are more of an experience than anything else.
Oh my goodness, this place is the best on this list. This place provides the biggest selection of craft cocktails and beers. I’m here.
